What
are the desk surfaces made of and how are they finished?
The surfaces are precision crafted from natural wood
products and finished with a super-durable, baked on,
2-part catalyzed
lacquer clearcoat or painted finish. The XO2 desk and
some parts have a tough powder coat finish.

How
do you fiqure how much space the desk will take-up?
Biomorph desks all have specific, space efficient 'footprints',
the actual space that the desk and the user will take
up on the floor. These footprints may be found on the
'specs' pages for each model.
Most models are designed to fit into corners, or to be
placed at 45 degrees to a wall, and all can be freestanding.

you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer volume discounts that start at $10,000 net
invoice value. We market Biomorph products direct and
we do not offer dealer discounts or architectural discounts.
All of our prices are net prices.
A word about contact furniture industry 'list pricing'
practices:
We do not structure our pricing on so-called manufacturer's
'list price' that is then discounted to the customer.
Biomorph products are marketed directly to you and shipped
directly from our factories and warehouses. All of our
pricing reflects savings from not having dealer or rep
networks.

Is
there a warranty on the desks?
There is a five (5) year warranty on
all Biomorph and SIS HFT Inc. products including the
worm gear and chain mechanism. Limited to cost of replacement.
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from
accident , alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence
or abuse. Other component manufacturers warrant their
products to be free of material or manufacturing defects
for one year from date of shipment, limited to cost of
replacement. . Please see

What
is the refund or return policy on Biomorph Desks?
No
merchandise may be returned without written consent
of GSE Ltd. in the form of
a return goods authorization and shipping instructions.
Parts are only returnable if damaged or incorrect,
otherwise
a restocking fee applies as follows: Previously assembled
desks w/original packing materials--50% of net invoice
price plus round trip freight charges; Opened unassembled
parts w/original packig--35% of net invoice price
plus round trip freight charges; Unopened packaging--25%
of net invoice price plus round trip freight charges.
Refunds will be made after receipt and inspection
of goods in
our warehouse. No merchandise is to be sent to the
New York City address without prior written consent.
Any
unauthorized shipments will be refused and returned
at the owners expense.
Orders may not be canceled without the
written consent of GSE Ltd.. Restocking charges
may be incurred.
In the interest of
manufacturing better products, design changes may
be effected without
notice. Prices and conditions are subject to
change without notice.

Biomorph desks are designed to work for a wide variety
of applications, and our standard models will fit the
bill in the majority of circumstances. We can, however,
offer customization within certain parameters for multiple
unit orders.

How
are Biomorph desks delivered?
To maximize economy, we ship Biomorph desk parts from
our several factories directly to you. The tops, frames,
add-ons and keyboard mechanism are shipped independently
and will arrive at different times
within the
normal delivery window.The X02 desk, chairs and add-ons
are shipped by UPS. All shipments are insured against
damage en route. Report damaged cartons or merchandise
immediately
and note on delivery slip when possible.

How
long will it take to receive my desk(s)?
The lead-time for delivery of stocked items is 5-10 working
days when shipped via standard service.
For out of stock or multi desk shipmnents the lead-time
is
4-6 weeks before we ship. Accelerated and international
shipping is available.

Do
the desks come already assembled?
No, to achieve economic packaging and shipping, the desks
arrive knocked-down. Due to efficient design, desk assembly
is very easy, utilizing the included tools and hardware.
Assembly instructions are sent to you with your
Order Kit prior to the delivery of your Biomorph
desk. They
are also included with the desks, and you can print
them from our website at: http://www.biomorphdesk.com/assembling_order.html.
On-site installation service is available for multiple
unit orders.

What
if the desk arrives damaged en route?
All Biomorph products are insured against damage during
shipment. We request that you check all cartons, crates
and packages before signing for delivery. If you receive
a package with only minor, exterior damage, please note
"damaged" on the delivery receipt. If you receive
a damaged product please refuse delivery. In either
case, please contact us

How
do I adjust the desk from sit to stand position?
All Biomorph desks are height adjustable. Depending on
which model you purchase, you will be able to adjust
the
height of your desk surfaces using a lift and lock system,
hand crank, a spring loaded mechanism, or with a touch
of
a button
for the
electric powered versions.

How
much weight will Biomorph desks with-stand?
Biomorph desks are built with sturdy steel frames and
heavy load bearing surfaces. Depending on the model, they
can hold up to 400lbs of equipment without difficulty.
However, prudent loading and equipment placement should
be taken into account.
